Information kept on your phone
TOM Driver uses local device storage for sign-in, installation identification, display and sound preferences, configuration and asset caches, drafts and queued work. Queued work can include messages and delivery evidence. The client uses an encrypted local vault for protected queued work. That does not establish encryption of every export, operating-system copy or backup.
Purpose and duration
Operational storage supports access and continuity of the service you request. Preference storage remembers choices such as theme and text size. Notifications use a device token. Storage may persist until it is replaced, expires, is removed through the app or is cleared on the device; different items have different lifetimes. Android barcode scanning uses an on-device scanner. This release has no identified advertising SDK or advertising-ID permission.
Protecting saved work
Use a device lock and keep the phone and app updated. Report a lost or shared device promptly. Do not clear app or browser storage, uninstall or reset a device while it holds unsent work. Clearing local storage can remove saved work but does not erase server records. Changing a phone permission affects the related feature and does not erase earlier business information.

Any new optional storage or access technology requires assessment of applicable privacy and electronic communications requirements and appropriate information and choices.
